The Hailing district of Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, held its fourth Science and Enterprise Alliance Innovative Cooperation Development Conference on Nov 19.
The event attracted over 50 Chinese and foreign experts and academics from major universities – as well as representatives of over 70 key companies and high-tech enterprises based in the district – to attend.
Hailing released a three-year action plan for the development of young talent at the event. Nine specific measures were proposed for carriers, other proactive measures, and the business ecosystem.
In addition, a one-stop service center for Taizhou youth and talent was unveiled.
A series of project signings took place – including the settlement of a talent team for a materials surface engineering technology research institute, as well as a cooperative agreement between Hailing Industrial Park and Borthong Industrial Estate in Thailand.
After the event, a series of activities were held to promote the deep integration of industry, universities, and research. These included a sci-tech innovation frontier symposium, a roundtable forum on talent development and an intelligent manufacturing consortium cooperation development forum.
