Construction of a new energy storage battery engineering technology research center – to be located in Hailing Industrial Park, Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – recently got the green light to go ahead.
The provincial-level center – which will be owned and operated by Jiangsu Zhitai New Energy Technology Co Ltd – is regarded as being an important carrier. It will primarily focus on serving companies, be market oriented and have a deep integration of industry, university and research.
It's expected to help promote the construction of sci-tech innovation systems and guide enterprises to further bolster their technological innovation and the commercialization of achievements.
Founded in 2018, the facility's operator is focused on energy storage applications – providing systematic products and solutions centered on lithium-ion and sodium ion batteries.
The company takes industrial energy storage as its strategic focus, supplemented by the light power business and is supported by communications backups energy storage.
Looking ahead, plans are for Hailing Industrial Park to continue to strengthen the integration of innovation and industry supply chains, boosting the overall high-quality industrial development of the zone.
