Leveraging a crop rotation model of rapeseed and oil sunflowers, the scenic area offers a distinct seasonal experience: rapeseed flowers in spring and sunflowers in autumn. Nearly 17 hectares of oil sunflowers planted in August have reached full bloom, transforming the waterfront into a golden, painterly field enhanced by giant cartoon sunflower installations and photogenic spots.

The newly introduced Sunflower Market spans over 100 square meters with 20 stalls. It features local intangible cultural heritage items, specialties, desserts, handmade crafts, and agricultural products. Nearby, the Dongtang He'an Teahouse has opened as a tranquil space offering tea tasting, cultural experiences, light snacks, and future literary salons.

A major highlight this season is the upgraded water tour system. Visitors can enjoy a 30-to-40-minute customized boat route around the sunflower fields, complete with scenic stops for photos and themed props provided on board. Along with the local agricultural exhibition shop, the new features aim to extend visitor stays and boost local tourism.
