Hanxi Street in Hailing district, Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, reopened on Dec 31 after its renovation, offering an array of surprises to celebrate New Year's Day.

Intangible cultural heritage feast

A number of intangible cultural heritage stores, featuring Taizhou morning tea, rice wine, and pastries, have been set up on the street, offering a grand ICH feast.

Creative fair with unique stalls

Hanxi Street also offers creative fairs with many unique stalls, such as those offering traditional Chinese medical consultations and herbal tea, as well as stalls selling handcrafted goods, homemade desserts and coffee. Some of them have been set up in the trunks of cars and decorated by their owners.
