This year, Jiangsu Airship Co Ltd in Hailing district, Taizhou, has improved production efficiency by promoting digital and intelligent transformation, with the company's output value reaching 260 million yuan ($35.84 million) in the first three quarters, a 10-percent increase over last year.
Founded in 1958, Jiangsu Airship was one of the earliest manufacturers in China to adopt precision forging technology for the production of straight bevel gears. The company's products include three major series: straight bevel gears, helical bevel gears, and cylindrical gears.
Li Junhua, director of the southern plant, revealed that the company has introduced 10 automated production lines this year to ensure its annual goals.
"From January to October, output increased by over 2 million items compared to the same period last year, a growth rate of 25 percent. This increased the company's output value by over 30 million yuan," said Li.
Setting its sights on the booming new energy vehicle market, Jiangsu Airship has adjusted its strategy to keep pace with dynamic market demands.
This year, the company has formed long-term partnerships with four leading new energy vehicle brands, securing more than 700,000 units in monthly supplies.
"We have developed over 20 new products, and now NEV gear products account for 70 percent of our total gear products, increasing the company's output value by over 10 million yuan," added Li.
Beyond its commitment to technological innovation, the company also prioritizes the informatization and intelligent advancement of its production management processes.
It has introduced an intelligent warehousing cloud management platform, through which material automatic incoming and outgoing operations are realized.
