Hailing district of Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, is streamlining its system to update information on registered businesses, making it much more efficient, thanks to an initiative being conducted by the local data bureau.
This involves integrating a number of administrative areas into a single process, making things much simpler for handling the affairs of business enterprises.
Previously, they needed to handle related matters with six municipal departments. These matters involved a company's business license, seal engraving, tax registration, social security registration, housing provident fund enterprise deposit registration and basic account information changes.
Now, the departments have compiled a clearly defined list of materials and an information sharing and collection form. Businesses need only to log into the Jiangsu government service website, enter the enterprise information change module, and submit materials only once.
Through advanced information sharing and online license application technology, the common materials can be shared and used automatically.
As a result, the number of application materials categories for enterprises has been reduced to six and the target completion time has been reduced from about six working days to within one working day.
In addition to online handling, Hailing has set up a joint cross departmental window for enterprise information updates.
The window can handle all matters related to business information changes, promote mutual recognition and sharing of data between departments, as well as provide guidance services.
