Manufacturer Jiangsu Huatai Precision Technology, located in Hailing district of Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, is striving to grow into a little giant firm for the precision machining of aluminum zinc alloy components.
Little giant firms represent the novel elites of small and medium-sized enterprises that specialize in a niche market, boast cutting-edge technologies and exhibit great potential.
A wholly owned subsidiary of AKF International Corp in Suzhou city in the province, Jiangsu Huatai Precision Technology mainly produces products involving electric tools, household appliances, communications, automobiles, equipment and new energy.
"The current order volume of the company is very considerable, with about 80 percent of the products sold for export and about 20 percent sold nationwide," said Gu Bin, deputy general manager of the company.
All equipment in the company's die-casting workshop has been equipped with robots and all equipment is equipped with robots, with highly automated die-casting machines to be introduced at a later stage, Gu added.
In addition, the company has maintained long-term cooperation with leading enterprises in the tool industry, such as Stanley Black & Decker and Electrolux.
The company's annual output value is projected to reach 90 million yuan (12.63 million) this year, a hefty year-on-year increase of 50 percent.
Plans are for the company to actively promote its transformation and upgrading towards high-end, digital and eco-friendly development, with efforts in investing in large tonnage equipment at a later stage to achieve integrated molding of new energy vehicle frames.
