As night falls and the city lights up, people in Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province, adore the colorful forms of the nightlife there.
A traditional Chinese medicine night market took place in Hailing on July 19-24, with over 70 medical staff providing a series of traditional Chinese medicine diagnoses and treatments for citizens.
They served nearly 8,000 people during the period, sparking a trend of advocating traditional Chinese medicine health.
"I drank herbal tea, experienced moxibustion and learned a lot of traditional Chinese medicine health knowledge at the market. I hope more of such activities can be held in the future," said a citizen surnamed Zhang.
Since the start of summer, Hailing has utilized the summer evening time to carry out a series of activities such as public welfare film screenings and youth night courses.
Hailing's youth night school has arranged 12 categories of courses to meet the needs of young people in cultural life, skills learning, physical and mental health and in other aspects in their leisure time.
When night falls, Hailing's people can also taste special and delicious food at food stands in its old streets.
