The completion and grid connection ceremony for a new energy storage power station project, located in Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province, took place on July 1.
Situated in the Hailing New Energy Industrial Park, the station will provide peak power regulation, frequency regulation assistance, new energy storage quota leasing and other services for the State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co Ltd, storing 400,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per day.
The project has been included in the province's peak summer electricity supply guarantee plan by the Jiansgu Development and Reform Commission.
The Hailing New Energy Industrial Park established a special team to offer services covering different stages of the project, speeding up its construction to within three months.
This is said to have broken the construction period record in the energy storage power station project industry.
The erection of the station is viewed as marking the further expansion of the collaborative innovation ecosystem of the new energy industry in Hailing.
