East China's Jiangsu province recently launched a management specification, drafted for intelligent refuse collection facilities across the region.
Designed for household waste classifications, the specification – which was issued by the province's market regulation bureau – will be implemented on June 16.
The specification was drafted by companies including Taizhou Hailing City Development Group Co Ltd and its subsidiary Taizhou Yicheng Environmental Technology Co Ltd – as well as local government bodies such as the Taizhou city urban management bureau and the Hailing district of Taizhou's urban management bureau.
The specification clarifies the basic requirements, planning layout and setting, functional requirements, classification and recycling and other content for the management of intelligent collection facilities for household waste classification.
Based on the existing intelligent collection facilities for household waste, it also proposes 'deep intelligent' functions such as automatic recognition, automatic deliveries, mixed delivery reminders and data analysis.
The specification is said to serve as a standard guideline for improving the intelligence and information management of garbage classification, enhancing the quality of urbanization and the level of ecological civilization construction.
In recent years, Taizhou Hailing City Development Group Co has actively entered the environmental protection technology sector and focused on promoting its industrial intelligence and digital transformation.
Moreover, it has formed a full industry supply chain for garbage classifications, resource recycling and intelligent cleaning.
