Specializing in the production and R&D of complete sets of hydraulic equipment, manufacturer Taizhou Hailing Hydraulic Machinery Co Ltd – based in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has consistently attracted customers through its technological innovation.
Ding Kefang, the company's 68-year-old chairman, said that early manufacturers of hydraulic tools were like mushrooms after the rain – popping up out of nowhere – which limited the profit margins of their products.
To do something different and lasting, he led the establishment of a research team and updated products.
In 2015, with the cessation of production of manual hydraulic tools in the workshop, the company began to enter the field of complete hydraulic systems with a higher technological content.
Nowadays, the company mainly conducts personalized customized hydraulic system research and development and produces bespoke equipment for big construction and steel metallurgical enterprises.
That’s worked out extremely well and the current orderbook now runs to October and all production lines are operating at full capacity, said Chen Jilin, deputy general manager of the company.
Chairman Ding Kefang said that continuously innovating technology catering to customer needs – and providing non-standard products that adapt to different needs and operating environments – is the scientific research and innovation path that the company is firmly committed to.
