The colorful He'an Scenic Area, located in Huagang town – in Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is currently attracting hordes of visitors.
They're being drawn to view the enchanting cole flowers now in full bloom there.
The He'an area has an abundance of water and land and folks built banks on its mudflats, suitable for planting economic crops such as cole flowers.
Relying on the He'an area, Huagang town introduced and cultivated colorful cole flowers. They've brought in a new variety developed by agricultural technology experts in China and are currently undergoing trial planting in Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Hunan, Sichuan and other provinces.
The scenery can attract an estimated 10,000 visitors every day when these flowers are in full bloom, driving vigorous rural tourism spending.
Located on the west side of Xingtai North Road and the east side of the Luting River, the scenic area now become a highly popular leisure tourism venue that integrates the riverside landscape, water leisure activities, agriculture and cultural tourism, among other things.
