Project development goals have been set out by the Hailing district of Taizhou city – located in East China's Jiangsu province – for the current year.
Hailing aims to add one project worth over 10 billion yuan ($1.39 billion) and two projects costing over 5 billion yuan each, as well as break ground on 20 construction projects and add three major Jiangsu province projects.
To achieve these goals, it will focus on three specific aspects.
First, it will clarify the overall direction of its strategic efforts. In terms of major manufacturing projects, Hailing will promote the development of Phase II projects in competitive industries like the new energy, automotive components, and smart home appliances sectors.
It will also connect with efficient photovoltaic cells and components, high-end smart appliances, and integrated applications – as well as smart grids and energy management – to pave the way for rapid breakthroughs in major projects.
Second, it will move to enhance the attractions of its projects. Hailing will marshal its resources to take on the top 10 leading industrial companies. Based on regional industrial characteristics, it will also boost the professional teams in its five major investment attraction branches.
Moreover, it will continue to optimize the achievement transformations and operation mechanisms of its three key offshore innovation centers in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing – thereby accelerating the incubation of more high-quality projects.
Third, it will move to optimize its business environment. Plans are for Hailing to make every effort this year to ensure the implementation of policies, to benefit high-quality project construction.
