Two construction projects in the Hailing district of Taizhou city – located East China's Jiangsu province – were recently listed among 42 provincial prefabricated building demonstration projects in 2023.
The first one, in the Taizhou Yunhe Road Primary School, is located on the west side of Chunshen Road and south side of Yunhe Road.
This prefabricated demonstration project consists of the school's teaching buildings – using Building Information Modeling, or BIM technology in the design, construction and operations stages, along with a smart construction site management system to improve its construction efficiency.

The other listed project is the Yunhe Road Kindergarten. Located on the south side of Yunhe East Road, the structure consists of a three-level teaching and living building at a height of 14.15 meters, covering a site of 11,639 square meters.
The project has also used BIM technology to complete its digital designs and in-depth designs – while the steel component production functionality has deployed technologies such as intelligent steel pipe bundle production lines, welding robots and information management platforms to improve the level of its intelligent construction.
The local district housing and urban-rural development bureau said it would enhance its efforts to promote the demonstration effect of the projects, to boost the modernization of the regional construction industry.
