The Hailing (Shenzhen) Industry Investment Conference was held in Shenzhen, South China's Guangdong province, on March 29, with agreements on 20 projects being signed.
The projects involve such industries as new energy, new materials, new generation of information technology, high-end manufacturing equipment, modern agriculture, and modern service.
Hailing district official Sun Qun said that Shenzhen is the prime example for Hailing's transformation and upgrading. He also called for more Shenzhen entrepreneurs to set up businesses in the district.
The excellent business environment of Hailing was promoted during the conference, spotlighting the policy advantages in its health industry, the innovative advantages of being a provincial pilot area in science and technology area, as well as the talent advantages of being a youth-friendly area.
In addition, Hailing has the first national business environment evaluation team, thus ensuring government services with standardization and specialization. Innovative services are also offered there to help projects shorten construction time.
Before the conference, a financial assistance conference for industrial development was also held, launching a fund to attract investment and empower business development.
At present, Hailing has established 18 special funds or market-oriented funds totaling 7 billion yuan ($1.02 billion), and has invested in more than 70 projects.
