Bell Tower Lane – which is located in the Hailing district of Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – is a renowned ancient tourist spot in the city.
The 220-meter lane, with a history spanning more than 700 years, runs from east to west, starting from Hailing Road and running to Fuqian Road in the west.
When strolling down the lane, people come across the old houses of celebrities and ancient wells, taking you from past to present and back again.
In recent years, coffee houses, bakeries, local restaurants and other outlets have brought a new vitality to the lane.
