Built on a solid industrial foundation, Hailing district in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu, has been pushing forward with the adjustment of its industrial structure and replacing old growth drivers with new ones since the start of the century, with new energy, new materials and advanced equipment manufacturing as its three leading industries.

In terms of its new energy industry, Hailing has shaped an industrial cluster with photovoltaic cells and modules as the core. The gross annual production of this industry in Hailing now exceeds $3 billion.
In addition, Hailing is striving to extend the industrial chain for power and energy storage batteries, while also boosting the industrial chain for photovoltaic panels, and enriching the supply chain for new energy vehicles.
