Taizhou Sanfu Ship Engineering in Taizhou, Jiangsu province, has gotten the new year off to a start. It completed four key production milestones from Jan 5 to 8.
A groundbreaking ceremony for the company's 63500DWT bulk carrier built for a Thai shipowner was held on Jan 5, while the company completed the signing and delivery of a 11000DWT multi-purpose ship built for a German shipowner on Jan 6.
Another 63500DWT bulk carrier built by the company was launched on Jan 7 and successfully floated on water. In addition, its third 63500DWT bulk carrier held a closing ceremony on the upper deck on Jan 8.

The 63500DWT bulk carrier has a total length of 199.9 meters, a width of 32.26 m, and a depth of 18.9 m. It adopts low resistance line optimization and an energy-saving environmental protection system, which improves cargo efficiency and responds to global demand for the low-carbon transformation of shipping.
The 11000DWT multi-purpose ship has a total length of 149.95 m, a width of 23.2 m, and a depth of 10.5 m. There are two adjustable deck covers in the cargo hold, which can be flexibly arranged at nine different heights and equipped with two sets of movable longitudinal bulkheads, improving the adaptability and flexibility of cargo loading.
