The dental zirconia ceramic independently developed by Hagong Ningbo Medical Technology Taizhou, located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, recently passed the CE marking, required for products covered by harmonized EU rules that specifically mandate it.
It is the first CE marking in this field in Jiangsu. This means the company's quality management system and product performance have aligned with the highest international standards, providing a crucial entry permit for it to broaden its presence in global markets.
This product is primarily made of zirconia, which not only facilitates simple and adaptable industrial production, but also ensures stable product performance through precise control of powder forming and pre-sintering processes.
Since it settled in the zone in 2020, the company has been engaged in the research, development, and production of high-end biomedical ceramic materials.
It has since established cooperative relationships with top Chinese medical institutions and industrial partners, including the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Affiliated with Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Its business scope has gradually expanded to Southeast Asia, India, Russia, and other countries and regions.
The company aims to produce made-in-China dental materials, boasting safety, stability, and aesthetic qualities. It said it also hopes to benefit more global patients and open up a broader development space in the international biomedical materials arena.
