The 16th Taizhou Medical Expo opened at the China Medical City Conference and Exhibition Center, Taizhou, Jiangsu province, on Nov 28.
The three-day event takes "Promoting the Industrialization of Innovative Achievements and Driving New Growth in the Health Industry" as its theme, covering an exhibition area of over 30,000 square meters.
It features three exhibition halls and three themed exhibition areas, gathering innovative products, cutting-edge technologies, and research and development achievements in multiple fields, such as global pharmaceuticals and biological products, medical devices and diagnostic equipment, health products and nutritional health products.
Qu Fenghong, vice chairman of Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, said that as the first national high-tech zone positioned in the pharmaceutical industry, China Medical City is not only the pride of Taizhou, but also a solid foundation for China to move towards a strong pharmaceutical country.
During the opening ceremony, the Jiangsu Province Biopharmaceutical and Biomanufacturing Industry Alliance was established, aiming to enhance the competitiveness of Jiangsu's biopharmaceutical and biomanufacturing industries.
A cooperation agreement between China Medical City and the Fangchenggang International Medical Opening-Up Pilot Zone in Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region was also signed.
