Five businesses based in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, located in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province, were recently included in a list of leading enterprises in agricultural industrialization in the province for 2024.
Of them, SinoVet Biopharmaceutical is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, sales and technical services of animal biological products.
It has developed new animal biological products in the fields of new multi-link vaccines, gene deletion vaccines, virus suspension culture technology, freeze-drying protectants and freeze-drying processes.
Another company is Toko Food (Jiangsu), a Japanese sole proprietorship, focusing on producing food seasoning products, food essences, ready-to-go meals, soup packets and bone soup products.

Also recognized was Jiangsu Beevip Biotechnology, which is engaged in the production of propolis products and R&D and sales of health food.
Another that made the grade is Taizhou CP Feed, a large joint venture specializing in feed production funded and established by CP Group.
It mainly uses leading international scientific formulas to produce full price compound feed and concentrated feed for pigs, chickens and aquatic products, with a design production capacity of 220,000 metric tons per annum.
Finally, Yihai Kerry (Taizhou) Biotechnology is engaged in R&D, production, processing and sales of high-end biological feed and feed additives.
Currently, the zone is home to 47 leading agricultural industrialization enterprises, including 10 provincial-level ones.
