The Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, or Gaogang district of Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, is focused on deepening reform and innovation to continuously improve government services and bolster business environment.
Thanks to the reform measures, industrial project approvals have been fully covered, with the full approval process streamlined to within 30 working days. This has handled inflowing projects, so that they start construction at a much earlier stage.
The reform measures in terms of land transfers have reduced the certification process duration, while the reform in environmental assessment has reduced both costs and time.
Gaogang also introduced reform of the phased processing of construction permits for building projects, such as pile foundation engineering and main structure engineering work, allowing project approvals and construction to proceed simultaneously.
Projects like Jiangdong Huating housing project have benefited from phased processing of construction permits, resulting in a start date over two months ahead of schedule.
The concerted efforts of Gaogang to boost efficiency and streamline approval processes show commitment to fostering a more business-friendly environment and accelerating economic development in the city.
