An animal test conducted by Jiangsu Meifengli Medical Technology, located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone in Taizhou city, located in East China's Jiangsu province, recently assisted in the development of a transcatheter aortic valve system by Beijing Balance Medical Technology, which is now set to be approved for marketing.
By adopting a balloon expansion valve structure design, the valve system has pioneered in the same valve leaflet opening and closing mode as surgical biological valves, thereby overcoming the durability concerns of existing transcatheter valve products in clinical practice.
Focusing on preclinical animal testing of medical devices, Jiangsu Meifengli Medical Technology was founded by a team of leading doctors in 2018.
Wei Xufeng, leader of the team, has over 20 years of clinical medical experience in testing of large animals.
