Some 24 enterprises that have settled in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone – located in Taizhou city, East China's Jiangsu province – were recently accorded important recognition.
They were included on the first list for 2024 of provincial specialized and sophisticated small and medium-sized enterprises, or SMEs, that produce new and unique products.
The term "specialized and sophisticated enterprises that produce new and unique products" refers to businesses possessing the characteristics of specialization, refinement, uniqueness and novelty.
They are leading players that focus on segmented markets, have strong innovation capabilities, a high market share, master key core technologies and have excellent quality and efficiency.
Currently, the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone is home to 124 provincial specialized and sophisticated SMEs that produce new and unique products.
To bolster the development of such enterprises, the zone has focused on aspects of enterprise scale, focus, growth, innovation and more to determine different cultivation goals – and has matched enterprises with graded reward and subsidy policies.
