The Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – received hordes of visitors who wanted to really experience revolutionary culture during the three-day Tomb Sweeping Day holiday on April 4-6.
Situated in Baima town, the Memorial Hall of the Birthplace of the People's Navy handled well over 5,000 visitors during the break.
That's because there are loads revolutionary historical relics at the venue, as well as a variety of retired naval equipment including aircraft, naval guns, torpedoes and missiles. A slew of historical scenes that are recreated using sounds, lights and other means drew in fascinated visitors to stop and learn about them.

Elsewhere, the Taizhou Naval Ship Culture Park also drew in the crowds. It's a very popular naval cultural exhibition platform and naval-themed education base that integrates popular science education, military education and revolutionary traditional education.
During the holiday, it pulled in an estimated 20,000 visitors.
Visitors boarded the naval ships to get the unique feel of them and find out about the increasing strength of the People's Navy.
