Two enterprises in Gaogang district, also known as the Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – recently received municipal science and technology innovation awards.
The winners were announced by the Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau as part of the 2023 evaluation.
Jiangsu Bainingyingchuang Medical Technology Co Ltd was awarded the first prize for a project entitled Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Navigation System R&D and Commercialization.
The project has received CFDA certification and has broken the monopoly previously held by international medical giants in the market, providing a domestic alternative.
The system has been implemented in over 400 hospitals across the country, including prestigious institutions like Beijing Tongren Hospital and Wuhan Union Hospital. Market feedback reportedly highlights the system's stability and its ability to meet clinical requirements.
The second enterprise, Jiangsu Jiuxing Precision Technology Group Co Ltd, was awarded third prize for its New Bi-directional Damping Precision Hinge Project.
The project is understood to have achieved high load-bearing capacity and eliminates rebound and leakage on home cabinet doors and drawers.
It also extends the lifespan of damping hinges and slides. Since securing a patent, the project is said to have been at the forefront of industry technology and continues to innovate in terms of precision machining, technology and applications.
