A popular tourist site called Love Sea Joyful Pastoral, in the Taizhou Medical High Tech Zone – located in Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – has been designated as a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
That's after an evaluation by the city's tourism resources planning and development assessment committee.
The tourist attraction is a newly built special countryside complex integrating the primary, secondary and tertiary industries.
It includes a rose cultivation plantation covering an area of 1,700 mu (113 hectares), rose processing and research facilities covering an area of 840 mu and a rural tourist area.
The rural tourist area features a series of attractions with love as the main theme. These include Love Avenue, the Wedding Lawn, the Rose Flower Sea, Love Sea Plane, Blind Date Train, Romantic Water Street, Unity Bridge, Sweet House and the Pink Beach.

At the same time, there are parent-child experience sites that feature rainbow slides, fishing facilities, off-road go-karts, children's driving schools, military parks, rock climbing, trampolines and mazes, among other things.
Moving forwards, plans are for the tourist site to introduce more tourism projects. It will aim to improve its support facilities and boost its service levels and quality – contributing to the development of rural tourism in the district.
