As the birthplace of the Chinese Navy, Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province held a raft of activities to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army Navy on April 23.
Located in Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, the Memorial Hall of the Birthplace of the People's Navy has recently an influx of visitors.
"Currently, our daily reception volume is in the thousands," said deputy director of the memorial hall Wang Mingzhe.
Around April 23, an exhibition is held in the memorial hall to showcase the development process of the People's Navy, which will last until late May.
To promote the history of the People's Navy, the memorial hall will also launch a short video, revolving around how it became the birthplace of the People's Navy. It will be launched on the official website, WeChat, and Weibo platforms of the memorial hall around April 23.
