Taizhou strengthens workforce with smarter recruitment and skills training

Taizhou has intensified efforts to connect businesses with talent through digital employment services, innovative recruitment campaigns and expanded vocational training, helping address labor shortages and support industrial development.

Since the beginning of this year, the city has filled more than 6,800 job vacancies and attracted over 2,500 high-level industrial professionals.

To improve access to employment opportunities, Taizhou has installed over 2,000 self-service terminals across its flexible employment market network. Workers can quickly browse and match with available jobs.

The city has also established 71 employment service stations. Powered by big data algorithms, the "Work in Taizhou" online platform intelligently matches job seekers with suitable positions. The integrated employment service system has handled more than 58.55 million visits.

Taizhou has also expanded its talent recruitment efforts beyond the city. Municipal officials have led recruitment delegations to leading universities, including Tongji University, through the "Taizhou Day" campaign. So far this year, the city has organized 34 campus recruitment events.

Meanwhile, the city has introduced "Talent Night Markets", combining recruitment with the nighttime economy and major sporting events.

Taizhou is not only focusing on recruitment but also on workforce development through flexible skills training. Skills Night Schools provide courses in various areas, including electrical work, drone operation and the preparation of Taizhou's signature morning tea cuisine, enabling workers to upgrade their skills without interrupting their daytime jobs.
