Taizhou has made fresh progress in building its foreign-funded innovation ecosystem, as two local companies were recently included in the second list of Jiangsu provincial-level foreign-funded R&D centers for 2025. The newly recognized enterprises are Recbio Technology and Ab&B Bio-Tech.
With the latest approvals, Taizhou now has a total of five companies recognized as provincial-level foreign-funded R&D centers this year, bringing the city's overall number to seven.
Following official recognition, enterprises will benefit from two major policy incentives. These include tax exemptions on imported R&D equipment and tax refunds for the purchase of locally manufactured equipment, reducing R&D costs and easing the financial burden on innovation-driven companies.
To promote wider participation, the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce has identified 32 enterprises and provided tailored guidance throughout the application process. Support has focused on policy interpretation, procedural coordination and application material preparation.
By improving policy accessibility and service efficiency, the city aims to enhance the sense of gain and development confidence among foreign-funded enterprises operating in Taizhou, and to attract more high-end innovation resources to the local market.
