Taizhou awards innovation and entrepreneurship talent

Taizhou, Jiangsu, hosted the award ceremony for the 2024 "Taizhou Attraction: Winning the Future" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, along with a funding support event for entrepreneurial talent and teams on Dec 6.

During the ceremony, Jiang Dongdong, Party secretary of Taizhou, extended his congratulations to the awardees and beneficiaries, emphasizing Taizhou's commitment to attracting, nurturing, and retaining talent. He noted the city's efforts to foster a youth-friendly environment and create opportunities for talent to excel.

Since the competition’s launch, 40 talent-led projects have been set up in Taizhou, with a total investment of 510 million yuan ($70.06 million). These projects span key industries, including biopharmaceuticals, advanced medical devices, lithium-ion batteries, new materials, and high-end equipment manufacturing.

The initiative underscores Taizhou's dedication to driving innovation and supporting high-quality development.
