Taizhou zone NEV transmission system components cluster expands

The new energy vehicle, or NEV transmission system components industry cluster – located in the Taizhou Medical High-tech Zone, in Taizhou city in East China's Jiangsu province – was recently honored.

It was entered in the 2024 Jiangsu provincial small and medium sized enterprises specialty industry cluster list.

Leveraging its competitive geographical advantages and a supportive innovation and entrepreneurship policy environment, the NEV cluster has rapidly developed from modest beginnings into a robust sector.

Underpinned by the local Great Wall Motors automobile production plant  and core auto parts manufacturers, the cluster now features a comprehensive industry supply chain.

This development is viewed as having significantly impacted surrounding industries, showcasing its strong growth and multiplier effect.
