Nanjing Agricultural University – located in Nanjing, capital of East China's Jiangsu province – hosted a Taizhou Day event on April 23, aimed at attracting young folks to Taizhou city in the same province for entrepreneurship and employment.
Taizhou Day is an initiative launched by the Taizhou municipal government to attract talent nationwide. Representatives from Taizhou visited Nanjing Agricultural University to share Taizhou's story, showcase its opportunities and promote its talent ecosystem.
During the event, the Taizhou Postdoctoral Science and Technology Innovation Center was unveiled, offering tailored services to support postdoctorate degree holder innovation and entrepreneurship.
The event featured presentations on Taizhou's agricultural development and job recruitment policies. Seven Taizhou-based agricultural enterprises signed cooperation agreements with Nanjing Agricultural University colleges.
To top it off, a jobs fair was held, with 41 companies offering 393 positions, including some with monthly salaries of up to 20,000 yuan ($2,759). The fair attracted 200 potential candidates, with 336 resumes collected on-site.
