The class is being organized by the Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group and China Pharmaceutical University. It comprises 13 international students from nine foreign countries, situated in Africa and Southeast Asia.
The students are expected to be taught systematic theory and to get practical skills training at an international industry-education integration center.
The program also provides its trainees with detailed personal course work, involving a one-to-one tutor and a life-guide teacher.
Company general manager Xu Haoyu said the integration training activities would open up employment opportunities for the international students.
It would also offer talent and technological support to the enterprise and help promote China's unique and powerful services to the world, Xu added.
According to local authorities, the university and the company have been carrying out cooperative programs in such fields as personnel training, scientific innovation and social services since last year.
Figures showed that ever since 2010, the pharmaceutical group has made significant contributions to the employment of 11,500 graduates, to the training of 3,380 technical workers and to the implementation of 77 projects combined with universities.
