Jingjiang scouts new business opportunities in Japan

A business delegation from Jingjiang city wrapped up eight days of economic and trade exchanges in Japan on Feb 24, which also included several trips to promote investment in this county-level city of Taizhou in East China's Jiangsu province.

The team visited the headquarters of Toyota and engaged in exchanges with the head of Toyota Motor China. Their talks covered the development of the auto parts industry in Jingjiang as well as the production and operations of Toyota's new energy vehicles.

Both sides hoped to enhance their communication and cooperation in a wider range of fields, such as new energy vehicle parts and composite materials to achieve mutual benefits and a win-win situation.

During their stay in Japan, the team also visited companies including the Sakai International Patent Office, JHC Corporation and TBK Manufacturing Corporation, and promoted Jingjiang's development in a comprehensive manner to promote further cooperation.

This marked the first stop in a series of cross-border economic and trade promotion activities organized by Taizhou city.
