The Taizhou Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism Bureau – together with the culture and tourism departments of districts and county-level cities administered by prefecture-level Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – will stage a series culture and tourism events during the upcoming Spring Festival.
The aim will be to promote the recovery of the region's cultural travel market.
Some 27 State-owned scenic areas will open free during the Spring Festival. Several recommended travelling routes will be launched, as well as a series of special offers for tourism.
The city will also launch appealing intangible cultural heritage shopping and display activities – such as an online intangible cultural heritage market – to help traditional intangible cultural heritage to integrate with the new times.
Based on local museums and memorial halls, various exhibitions, online lessens and other online events will be held to showcase local cultural relics and traditional culture.
Last but not least, a batch of New Year's parties and performances will be staged in parks, plazas, villages and communities to enrich people's lives and create a real festive atmosphere.
