'Made in Jingjiang' supports Qatar 2022 World Cup

Jiangsu GMO Hi-tich Co, which is based in Jingjiang, a county-level city in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, made a name for itself at the just-concluded Qatar 2022 World Cup football tournament as an electric water heater supplier.

The company received an order of 2,000 200-liter electric water heaters that were used in the construction of the new town and the transformation of the old town of Lusail, Qatar.

According to Zhu Shaozheng, the company's deputy general manager, all products were delivered by 2020 and operated smoothly during the event.

The company specializes in the research, development, design and production of thermal water tanks powered by solar energy and air energy.

Since its establishment 16 years ago, the company has participated in drafting six national and industrial standards and has been granted more than 100 patents.

It has also been actively expanding its presence in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, and has received SASO certification in Saudi Arabia and GCC certification in the Gulf states.
