In October, with the arrival of autumn, some 355 mu (23.67 hectares) of chrysanthemums are now in full bloom in Daying town, in Xinghua – a county-level city administered by Taizhou city, in East China's Jiangsu province – and that means it's harvest time.
This year, the average profit per mu is expected to be about 4,500 yuan ($675).
The fields are now a hive of activity, as farmers seize the opportunity brought by the sunny weather to bring in the chrysanthemums. [Photo/js.people.cn]
