Taizhou enhances international friendly exchanges

The city of Taizhou in Jiangsu province has made active efforts to boost international friendly exchanges and set a Taizhou template.

Taizhou has organized its sister cities to participate in the fifth Jiangsu International Youth Painting Contest, where teenagers from Spain's Zaragoza and Brazil's Montes Claros submitted 101 paintings and won 17 awards.

The city also invited mayors of the sister cities to attend the Jiangsu International Friendship Cities Week for BRI Cooperation. The mayors of Zaragoza, Spain and Ansbach, Germany sent congratulatory videos. Two of Taizhou's sister-city projects were displayed at the event.

In addition, Taizhou launched a photographic works collection event for foreigners in Taizhou to encourage them to capture the city's beauty through their lenses, and help them know and love their home in China. A special column has been set up on the WeChat account of Taizhou foreign affairs to promote Taizhou's sister cities and enhance locals' understanding of them.
