More than 4,000 villagers from the Sanshui sub-district of Jiangyan district in Taizhou, East China's Jiangsu province, have benefited from the edible mushroom industry in recent years.
In Jiangyan district, over 100 hectares of mushrooms have been planted, and a standardized production demonstration base covering 6.67 hectares is used to grow edible fungus, providing services for farmers including cultivation technology and sales. At the same time, the added value of mushrooms has been well-developed, thanks to efforts such as the deep processing of mushrooms and the production of edible mushroom chips.
