The Third Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Culture Night Market drew to a close on the evening of Aug 26 in Shuangfeng town, Taicang. Over the course of eight days, the event offered a rich lineup of attractions — free consultations with renowned doctors, hands-on TCM therapy sessions, medicinal food and tea tastings, and a herbal workshop. Adding to the festive atmosphere were ancient-style NPC parades and performances of intangible cultural heritage, attracting over 20,000 citizens, with an average of 300 people per day experiencing consultations and therapeutic treatments.

Stationery exports surge in Taicang bonded zone
Taicang Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone is experiencing a peak in stationery exports. In the first seven months of this year, the export value of stationery from this zone reached 22 million yuan ($3.26 million). The port, in collaboration with local customs, has optimized its services to help enterprises reduce logistics costs.
