Trumpf China deepens local layout with innovative laser tech
In a significant move, Trumpf China has unveiled its groundbreaking liquid-cooled plate laser welding system, marking a new era in the fusion of laser precision processing with efficient heat-dissipation technologies.
Traditionally, liquid-cooled plates, crucial components in heat dissipation systems for new energy sectors, have been processed using copper brazing furnaces, which are energy-intensive, space-consuming and prone to powder leakage in flow channels.
Trumpf's laser welding solution effectively addresses these issues, offering flexible processing times and rapid startup/shutdown during non-operating periods.
Leveraging its global leadership in laser processing, Trumpf has integrated the world's most advanced five-axis laser processing system with cutting-edge OCT (optical coherence tomography) 3D sensing technology to detect melt depth in real time, ensuring consistent welding quality.
As an early German entrant into Taicang, a county-level city in Suzhou, Jiangsu province, Trumpf has steadily enhanced its local research and development capabilities, accelerating the introduction of advanced technologies to drive industrial upgrading and achieve breakthroughs in high-end manufacturing within China. The company is also expanding into the semiconductor sector, establishing production facilities, application centers and service hubs in Taicang High-Tech Zone.

Since its inception in Taicang in 2000, Trumpf has grown significantly, solidifying the city's position as a strategic global stronghold. With a 30,000-square-meter production base, Trumpf continues to invest in Taicang, reinforcing its industry leadership and commitment to the Chinese market.
