The fourth round of the 2026 CTCC China Touring Car Championship will take place at Shanghai International Circuit in Jiading district on Sept 13, marking the start of the series' second-half season.
The event will feature four race categories — the TCR China Championship, CTCC China Cup, CTCC One-Lap Challenge and Hyundai N One-Make Series — as well as more than 100 cars.
The CTCC China Cup will bring together teams from Lynk & Co, Chery and SAIC Volkswagen, with more than 40 cars competing. The Hyundai N One-Make Series will feature Elantra N1 race cars with 315 horsepower.
Shanghai International Circuit, a 5.451-kilometer FIA Grade 1 track, has 16 corners. It has a long history with CTCC, whose predecessor held its first major event at the circuit in 2004.
The Sept 13 event will also include activities outside the races, such as brand displays, modified-car experiences, a food market and driver signing sessions.
