The 2026 Formula E Shanghai E-Prix will be held at the Shanghai International Circuit on July 4 and 5. Dubbed the "F1 of electric racing," Formula E brings together the world's leading automakers and elite drivers for high-speed wheel-to-wheel competition.
The event will once again showcase the impressive performance of the GEN3 Evo, which can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.86 seconds. The 2026 season marks the final campaign for the GEN3 Evo, with the GEN4 set to debut next year.

Venue: Shanghai International Circuit, No 2000 Yining Road, Jiading district.
Daily schedule: Gates open, 7:30 am; Practice 8:30-9:10 am; Qualifying 10:40-11:48 am; Race 3:00-4:00 pm; Awards ceremony 4:00-4:30 pm.
Single-day tickets allow unlimited re-entry with ID verification.
Tickets
Three ticket categories are available: 229 ($33.77) /279/399 yuan through Damai and Juss Sports.
Foreign visitors may purchase tickets using their passports and should present the original document at the manual entry lanes.
Transport
Take Metro Line 11 to Shanghai Circuit Station and exit via Exit 6. Visitors driving to the event should use Water Square Parking, while ride-hailing passengers should be dropped off at the intersection of Yining Road and South Ring 2 Road.
Key Rules & Tips
Entry: A passport and facial recognition are required for entry. If you lose your physical passport, a digital ID through Alipay may be accepted.
Prohibited items: Drones, banners, long umbrellas, lasers, and pets. Short umbrellas and raincoats are permitted on rainy days.
Tips: A medical center is located in Zone 10AC. Earplugs are recommended for young children because of the high noise levels.
