Global automotive supplier Huehoco Group has signed an agreement to establish its Asia-Pacific headquarters in Shanghai's Jiading district. The project, located in the Jiading Industrial Zone, is expected to attract a total investment of 50 million yuan ($7.36 million).
The new hub will cover about 12,000 square meters and integrate research and development, testing, sales, and regional headquarters management. It will serve customers across China, Japan, South Korea, and Southeast Asia with customized noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) solutions for intelligent connected new energy vehicles.
Huehoco, a global company with more than a century of experience in automotive components, is renowned for its expertise in brake NVH and noise reduction technologies.
The new headquarters will feature state-of-the-art facilities, including a semi-anechoic chamber, an NVH laboratory, a materials testing laboratory, an environmental reliability laboratory, and a dimensional measurement room.
A second phase is also planned, with a dedicated manufacturing plant to create a full industrial chain covering R&D, production, and sales.
Jiading Industrial Zone is a key supporting area for Shanghai International Automobile City. Over the past three decades, it has built a strong automotive supply chain, attracting leading companies in vehicle systems and key components.
Local officials said the Huehoco project will strengthen Jiading's capabilities in high-end automotive NVH research and support the district's goal of becoming a world-class automotive innovation hub, while accelerating the development of smarter, greener, and more advanced vehicle technologies.
