A new online platform aimed at improving collaboration across China's automotive supply chain has gone online, according to Shanghai International Automobile City.
The tcse-auto, jointly developed by the China Society of Automotive Engineers and Shanghai International Automobile City (Group), is inviting auto parts suppliers to join its industry-wide network.
The platform adopts unified data standards and an authorization-based data-sharing system to help automakers and suppliers work more efficiently. It aims to reduce repetitive reporting while improving coordination in production, quality, and delivery.
To date, 18 automakers have joined the initiative, while the first 12 major parts suppliers have completed data integration. The platform now processes more than 3 million real-time data records daily. A quality management standard has already been released, while a delivery standard is under development.
Platform operators emphasized that companies retain full control of their data. Instead of sharing raw information, participants authorize the use of verified capability data, ensuring security while enabling trusted collaboration.
The platform is now open to more parts suppliers interested in participating in standards development, pilot projects, and cooperation with automakers, as China continues to build a more efficient and transparent automotive supply chain.
