An exhibition commemorating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Shanghai's Jiading district opened on July 25.
Jiading was transformed from a county to a district in 1993. The exhibition, which is being held in several subway stations within Jiading, showcases the district's development over the past 30 years.
Visitors can explore the district's progress in urban planning, infrastructure, and economic growth. The exhibition also highlights the improvements made in education and public services.
Many visitors expressed their surprise when seeing the old photos and realizing how much the district has changed over the decades. They were particularly impressed by the advancements in education, which has resulted in the construction of numerous modern schools and a better quality of education.
To enhance the visiting experience, young tour guides have been deployed to share more about the district's efforts in pursuing high-quality development, promoting a high-quality lifestyle, and improving governance efficiency.
The exhibition will run till the end of the year.
