Baogang Group has won the bid for a key overseas rail transit project, becoming its only supplier of steel rails. This marks another major milestone in the company's expansion into overseas rail transit projects.

The total supply of steel rails for this project amounts to 10,000 metric tons, which will be used for a newly built double-track electrified railway in North America. The line is mainly tasked with carrying urban commuter passengers and air-rail connecting passengers.

Upon completion, it will link areas along the route, strengthen regional connectivity, and drive industrial integration and coordinated economic development. With a total investment of nearly 13 billion yuan ($1.91 billion), the project is a key transportation infrastructure initiative in the region.

The order has further consolidated the brand influence of Baogang's steel rail products in the international rail material market. A company representative said they will arrange production and shipment in strict accordance with the project's technical specifications and delivery schedules, while supporting the construction of key overseas railway projects with high-quality steel rails.

Utilizing its strong product competitiveness, the company will continue its efforts to expand into the overseas infrastructure steel market and fuel the high-quality development of the enterprise through high-value export orders.
