Thrilling finishes highlight third race day of China Speed Racing Qualifiers

The third race day of the 2026 China Speed Racing Qualifying Tournaments and Inner Mongolia Hohhot Speed Horse Regular Race concluded on May 31 in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

Six races were held in total, featuring Thoroughbred and Mongolian horses across various age groups and distances.

In the opening race, a 1,000-meter event for two-year-old Chinese-bred Thoroughbreds without previous wins, Yiming Feilong surged ahead in the middle stages to claim victory.

The third race, a 2,800-meter event for Mongolian horses measuring 1.40 meters or below, saw Naoming Heri accelerate in the final stages to secure first place.

In the fourth race, a 1,200-meter contest for three-year-old Chinese-bred Thoroughbreds, Houlai Jushang produced a late charge to overtake Minjian Dashi and take the title.

The final race, a 3,800-meter competition for Mongolian horses measuring 1.45 meters or below, was claimed by Pingbu Qingyun after a decisive late surge.

According to the organizers, the fourth race day will be held at 2 pm on June 7.
