North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region showcased the latest technology achievements of its 10 key industrial clusters at the 28th China Beijing International High-tech Expo, which opened on May 8 at the China National Convention Center.

A delegation comprising 84 companies and 38 major units from Inner Mongolia's 12 leagues and cities attended.

The exhibition highlighted breakthroughs in new energy, advanced materials, the digital economy, green agricultural and livestock product processing, and more.

Organized under a "1+1+4" framework, the showcase featured four major sectors.

The "Green Engine" section focused on wind, solar, hydrogen, and energy storage technologies, demonstrating Inner Mongolia's transition toward becoming a major national green energy base. The "Future Materials" section showcased rare earth materials, semiconductors, and modern chemicals, reinforcing the region's status as the "world's rare earth capital".

Other exhibits spotlighted artificial intelligence, low-altitude economy applications, virtual reality technology, robotics, and green computing initiatives linked to China's "Eastern Data, Western Computing" strategy.

The event also featured interactive matchmaking services powered by the "Mengkeju" innovation platform, aiming to accelerate the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and build a year-round cooperation platform beyond the expo itself.
